Grandparent and 3rd Party Rights to Children – Part 3

In Georgia, if the Court finds that you are an equitable caregiver, you are now established as a third legal parent and guardian. It does not terminate the other two parents’ legal rights and responsibilities. Therefore, child custody, child support and visitation still has to be decided by the court.
