Robert Thomas Nothdurft, Jr. is an Associate Attorney with KF Law, LLC. His practice concentrates primarily on family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony/palimony, temporary protective orders, equitable distribution, and post-judgment modification and enforcement. Mr. Nothdurft has navigated countless high-conflict divorce proceedings involving cases involving a wide variety of familial and complex financial issues. As a private practitioner and former public defender, Mr. Nothdurft also represents clients in various criminal law matters helping to protect their freedom. He has successfully counseled and represented countless clients in defending against DWIs, DUIs, reckless driving, and other traffic related offenses, as well as defending against false accusations and claims that have been overly dramatized and exaggerated in various contexts such as domestic violence, stalking, and otherwise. Further, he assists clients in defending against charges such as those involving drug crimes, theft and property crimes, assault and battery.

Before joining KF Law, LLC, Mr. Nothdurft practiced law in New York, where he worked as a trial attorney in a wide range of cases. He started his legal career as a public defender with the Nassau County Legal Aid Society, immediately becoming adept at litigating complex criminal cases in a fast-paced environment. During his tenure with Legal Aid, Mr. Nothdurft worked on domestic violence cases, representing defendants charged with criminal offenses against spouses, children, and other family members.
Mr. Nothdurft transitioned from public defense to private practice, where he developed an even deeper command of criminal law and procedure and expanded his practice to encompass family law and divorce. His mastery of the rules of evidence is rivaled only by his aggressive litigation style in both the criminal defense and domestic relations arenas.
