About
Monica Krachman is a Senior Associate with KF Law, LLC. She has practiced exclusively in the area of Family Law for more than 24 years. Ms. Krachman assists clients in all aspects of contested and uncontested family law matters, including divorce, alimony, child custody and visitation, legitimation, paternity, child support, grandparent and third-party custody, grandparent visitation, equitable division, and family violence restraining and protective orders.
Ms. Krachman is committed to educating her clients so they can understand the legal process and make informed decisions that positively affect their lives and the lives of their children. While many matters can be resolved through alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation, Ms. Krachman is also a skilled litigator who zealously advocates for her clients in court when necessary.
Ms. Krachman is trained as both a Parent Coordinator and Guardian ad Litem and brings a unique perspective to complex custody and parenting matters.
Ms. Krachman is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and actively practices throughout the Atlanta metropolitan area.
Education
Ms. Krachman earned her Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University School of Law, where she competed in the National Environmental Moot Court Competition and was named Best Oralist in the quarterfinal rounds. She received her Bachelor of Arts in the Biological Basis of Behavior from the University of Pennsylvania.
Employment
Ms. Krachman began her legal career at a boutique family law firm in Atlanta, Georgia. She has lived in the Atlanta area since 1988, with the exception of time spent in law school and two years in Texas. She now divides her time between Georgia and Hideout, Utah.

Ms. Krachman is a member of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC).
